LIFE IN THE BODY GOD GAVE ME
portrays one man's hope and courage in overcoming cerebral palsy. When you have finished reading this story you will find an awakening from within that will open your heart and give you a new outlook on your faith, life, and dreams.

Neil's mother always wanted him to be a "little gentleman" at the dinner table, but she never completely realized he could never live up to her expectations, no matter how hard he tried.

Neil was a spastic from birth.  He knew nothing but what he was.  He would dream how it would be different if he were not born with cerebral palsy.  But circumstances they were, never allowed him to know any other existence.

                    Neil H.Tasker (1910-1995)

In Neil's later years he secretly visited the Catholic shrine of Lourdes and at the Grotto, only a short distance from the bathhouse, prayed to the Virgin Mary to be cured of his cerebral palsy.  In this story you will learn the surprising miracle Neil believed happened just a few hours later which changed his life forever.
